Solved: Outlook 2007 so slow and not just me..check this out! - Tech Support Guy

As for the filing, well, the only solution I have that seems to work is gathering it all up once a week and chucking it in my firepit out behind the house! Enjoy. By the way, my system won't let me uncheck the Outlook Addins that the posts below advise, as I get a message saying can't do, connected to registry!? How to work around this? Are they XP maybe that this is being tried on? Or, I could just uninstall Outlook add-ins but, I would rather uncheck them then just uninstall a program if I could

This rule will be active all the time and you don't necessarily want all your regular out of office messages (at other time periods) to get auto-deleted. With Outlook 2010, is there any way to turn off receiving out of office messages back on a per-email basis? There was a simple checkbox for this in Lotus Notes mail which I miss badly

For a start people can get very annoyed getting multiple out of office reply's, secondly, what if the users is subscribed to a newsletter or mailing list, they will reply to the newsletter with an out of office, the newsletter mailbox will then often reply with a "don't send mail here, no one reads it" notice, which will be replied to etc until your mail server is using all it's memory to play OoO tennis. If you ever need to make any changes you will have to log onto a computer with that account and open up Outlook to Tools, Rules and Alerts to edit that rule
