Some cruise lines, like Princess, are beginning to offer onshore accommodations for a few nights to allow better opportunities to see the Northern Lights with local excursion providers. The Fairbanks area is the most likely place to see the Northern Lights on any given night, but you can also spot them close to Anchorage in the north or Ketchikan in the south
