My thought is like this one primary sql server should ping to another servers for every 2 or 3 hours regularly and if it could not connect to the server, it should send automatically the mail. Will this cause any problem in long term and also is there any way we can configure Database mail to automatically clean or archive old data in mail tables in msdb database

This is because the algorithms implemented in Windows 2008 R2 originally were looking to create as little as possible processor groups and keep the individual processor groups as large as possible. The machine in question had 4 sockets with each socket representing a NUMA node and each socket had 10 cores on it - so there were a total of 40 cores on the server

What is for sure is that if you haven't shelled out the money for Oracle Enterprise and Oracle Spatial, Oracle still doesn't think you are worthy enough to do a union or intersection of any kind at all even in the 11GR2 offering, so the discussion is kind of moot if you are using Oracle Locator. On the Oracle side -- presumably if you are running a PeopleSoft or Oracle Financials and had a need for spatial support, it may be easier with Oracle database

To completely avoid any possible repurcussions, though, you can simply set the affinity so that each instance has a defined (and ideally different) list to use. Perhaps this was a goof-up or oversight, but in my mind, it is a big gap of missing material (especially since there are material differences between SQL 2008 R2 and pre-R2 such as the discussed maximums)

Is there any way to create such script without that prompt message? Or use another SQL script to insert the records as a bulk copy or something? Thank you Farhad LikeLike Reply Damon B. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failu re may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.
