If you follow the way the Russians taught their people to use it, I find I am almost as fast as I am with a 1911 (especially if I have a spare mag out before the slide locks back). A Dillon 650 reloading press will help a whole lot! Reply Link Hanshi April 30, 2011, 6:06 pm I own three Walthers; a prewar 7.65 PPK, An early Interarms PPKS .380 and a Manhurin PPKS .22LR

I noticed the other day that despite this, I had somehow accumulated multiple Rule One Guns since writing that post due to changing circumstances in life. Ruger has since made some improvements to the LCP including now offering sights that are considerably more useful, but on my gun the tiny sight bumps are laughable

28, 2013 @ 2:52p Don't believe the whining, my 125lb wife keeps all her shots center of mass on a human sized target from 12-15yds and recoil didn't even cross her mind. I do like the compact design and the concealability of the LCP, but the accuracy (even with the Crimson Trace) is not good (at least in my hands, and I've owned at least a dozen pistols) and that trigger pull -- ugh

Factory replacement parts are manufactured to the exact same specifications and tolerances and use the same manufacturing materials as the original parts which guarantees excellent fit and reliable operation. Keeping a few extra factory magazines around is never a bad idea; extra magazines save loading time at the range and also serve as a backup for those days when you simply cannot remember where you put your primary magazine

- Also, in the heat of the moment of a self defense situation, when I am scared and my hearts pumping fast, I'm sure I would not remember to manually position it to the "fire" position. Can you please tell me, since i have never purchased a gun before, who to purchase it from? Also, do gun stores all sell the Ruger LCP .380 for the same price, or do I need to shop around? Can I buy it online, is that a good idea or not? Lastly can you please give me he steps to purchasing a gun? I would like it to be a surprise and I know he mentioned the likes of the Ruger

It features an extremely light weight and a compact design that make it the perfect choice for concealed carry as it will fit in a number of holsters or, if you prefer, your pants pocket. Designed to meet the needs of customers who demanded a pistol that was extremely light and easily concealed, the Ruger LCP, which stands for "Lightweight Compact Pistol," is everything anyone could ask for in a concealed carry pistol
