I have updated my video camera several times and I no longer have the camera to watch the movies when I have the desire to, not to mention it is so much easier to throw a DVD in the player than it is to wire up the RCA jacks and use a camera as your player.The Dazzle made it so simple to convert these tapes to DVD that I was quite surprised. BUT! when I go to capture from the Dazzle device, The screen is blank ( black)!I think this is a windows 7 isuue.Tried it on an XP machine and it captures very well! Did all my VCR tapes on my XP machine

Pinnacle's software is garbage, but the device itself is not.Summary, just download the driver and a separate recording program like AmarecTV, then you can use Windows Movie Maker to edit it, and you'll be fine
