Her dialogue especially was written so naturally, the story was never interrupted by choppy, contrived conversations that, when not written well, can unfor I was completely enamored of this author after reading her short story "Foster", which was included in a compilation of works featured in the Best American Short Stories 2011. Some of those stories still stick with me quite lucidly even though I put the book down a number of months ago, which just goes to show how powerful and deft a mastery Keegan has over the craft
