Reply Robert says: August 9, 2011 at 1:55 am Great help, thank you! One question remains open: I was warned by my retailer that the i7 in the 11 inch 2011 MBA could cause heat problems and he recommended to buy the i5, is that true, any experiences? I preferably would go with the i7, but overheating is the reason for me to dump my actual MBA 2009, so I am hesitant Reply Tasman Hayes says: August 9, 2011 at 5:55 am Robert, Thanks for your question. The i7 probably has more capacity to drink your batteries life, as it can fly up to much higher clock rates (up to 2.9 GHz) than the i5 in the MBA 11 (up to 2.3 GHz)

The stereo speakers, located above the keyboard, were louder than we needed during video playback, and leaned toward treble-heavy, but they were better than average. Its design is a dull gray plastic with matte-black plastic highlights around the square screen and keyboard that reeks of a half-decade ago, and the bottom half of this keyboard is far chunkier than any recent "ultraportable" laptop we've seen

How to tell if your Mac is 64 bit
Reply Randall Smock says: April 6, 2010 at 4:23 pm But to go a littler further with this; even though your Mac might have a CPU that is capable, it might not be able to natively boot 64 bit. If your machine is *capable* of booting 64 bit but does not by default and you want to, you can hold down the 6 and 4 keys on a cold start up to see if that does the trick, conversely you can hold down the 3 and 2 keys to boot 32 bit mode for the above mentioned driver issues
