I have stripped the phone down and reassembled a couple of times, thats not a problem for me, but the new home button (from ebay) initially was unresponsive, then after 20 or so good firm pushes, startedworking perfectly (at which point I was patting myself on the back) only for it to now being almost completely unresponsive
The only thing I have found so far that it didn't restore, understandably, was my music, which was no problems since I only downloaded it again from my iTunes. Unless I'm proven wrong because I'm assuming this happens at Apple too due to my experience with my Kindle breaking two times -.- Anyways I talk a lot, and that all I have to say except for one last THANK YOU! Thanks Nabeelglad to hear that you got it fixed now Ayessah.However this problem may arise again! so get a new charger ready with you as soon as possible to avoid any issue in future. It showed the battery cell with small red line and a power sign of charging but it remained there for hours and hours and no change in the battery charging status
Most of the time the lock screen flashes and then goes straight to black (shut down) but sometimes I can make it a few menus before it shuts itself down. pluged in into my laptop to connect it to iTunes, hoping i could reset the phone or the phone would sync and start working, but the phone just continued switching off and on while connected to laptop

Held down the home button and unplugged the cable keeping the home button down for 10 more seconds, plugged it back in keeping the home button down until it was plugged in
