So, now, if somebody calls your Google Voice number, it will ring your IPKall number, and then your SIP account, and I think then to your PBX account, and then via sipdroid, your phone will ring. To make an outgoing call, use the Android browser to go to Google Voice, call the number from the web page, and Google Voice will first call you back to make the connection

How-to Use Voice Dialer On An Android Phone

I had a good look through about updating my phone but as it is a Vodafone HTC Magic and is classed as a 32B model, which is inferior to the 32A model, it appears that it is not up to running the 2.1 update being offered on the link and that 1.6 is better

Other Free Methods We like Google Voice because it solves a lot of the problems associate with call recording up front: calls get routed through Google's servers so they're easy to record and it's not necessary to write an app that supports a hundred phones. You have a lot of options for recording calls, but if you're not a Google Voice user, you may need to do some trial and error to figure out what works and what doesn't on your handset

The above may sound trivial, but when one is driving and wants to make a call, having to hold your phone to type the number after 5 failed attempts to voice dial is the last thing you want to do. Google's Voice Dialer sucks! It always get the name wrong, and then immediately places a call to the wrong person! It doesn't even ask for confirmation of the name, and to top it off the voice it uses is so irritating and LOUD it makes me want to jump out the window while driving down the freeway! The Voice Commands app that originally came with the phone worked reasonably well, and I'd like to get it back (or even a third party app, like Dragon Assist, would be better than the current POS that's taken over the voice capabilities of my phone)

It would seem that Sipdroid is picking up the incoming and outgoing calls fine over Wi-Fi, and it is handling calls out from the cellphone (with GV Callback) fine over the 3G network, but for some reason calls in to the cellphone are not being handled correctedly when it is done over 3G through Google Voice
